I am a Senior Researcher in the Speech and Language Technology Lab (SLT) of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Berlin. I have a backgorund in Computer Science and Computational Linguistics, and work on topics related to natural language processing and AI applications, applied to medical use cases and healthcare. My research interests include trustworthy clinical decision support, multimodal machine learning, LLM-based agents, and text anonymization. I am involved in a range of interdisciplinary projects across medical domains, including nephrology, emergency medicine, tumor boards, and sexual medicine. In addition, I am currently responsible for the basic and the advanced lecture for Natural Langauge Processing at TU Berlin.

If you are interessed to collaborate on research, or if you search for an intersting topic for your Master thesis, feel free to get in touch!
